_MG_1081.JPG Feld-Davis Park, our local neighborhood park, is located at the corner of 8th Street and Martin. The park was developed in the spring of 2009.  It is a wonderful place to gather or just spend some quiet time.

We have installed a number of benches in the park, which we will be decorating with tiles made by neighborhood members.  Through a grant from PRO Neighborhoods and guided by Melody Peters, an artist living in Rincon Heights, we’ll be learning to design, make, and install tiles on these benches. The fun begins this Spring.  If you would like take part in this neighborhood project, contact Chris Wilke (cv.wilke@gmail.com)

There will be two tile workshops in October, the 13th and the 27th.  The design for the first bench is complete, and we hope to begin glazing by the 27th.

Bring a bottle of wine (or whatever your beverage preference is) and/or a snack and come join in for a nice gathering.
